EV Care Plan
Catch it while it's cheap, not when it's an emergency.
Your EV feels like it never needs servicing: no oil changes, no service reminders, nothing to book in.
That's exactly how years pass with nobody looking underneath, while the tyres, brakes, suspension, 12V battery and cooling system quietly wear.
An EV Care Plan puts your EV on a simple schedule: one whole-vehicle inspection a year, or every six months, that catches wear while it's small and builds a health record for the life of your car.
What we check
A whole-vehicle inspection, every visit.
Battery Health Tracking
- State of health
- Battery degradation
- Cell balance / imbalance where available
- Battery fault and error codes
- Charging assessment
- DC fast charging where applicable
Tyre Health
EVs are heavy and deliver instant torque, which can be hard on tyres.
- Tread depth
- Uneven wear
- Shoulder wear
- Sidewall condition
- Pressure
- Signs of alignment or suspension-related wear
Suspension & Moving Components
- Shock absorbers
- Struts
- Springs
- Control arms
- Bushes
- Ball joints
- Tie rods
- Steering components
- Sway-bar links
- Wheel bearings
- CV joints / shafts where applicable
Brake System
Regenerative braking can reduce reliance on friction brakes in some EVs, but pads, discs and calipers still need inspecting, and lighter use can bring its own issues like corrosion.
- Pads
- Discs
- Calipers
- Brake hoses
- Brake fluid
- Corrosion
- Uneven wear
Cooling & Thermal Management
Many EVs use liquid cooling or other thermal-management systems for the battery and drive components. The setup depends on the vehicle. We inspect what's accessible on yours.
- Coolant
- Reservoir
- Hoses
- Connections
- Visible leaks
- Relevant warning / error codes
- Accessible thermal-management components
Charging System
- AC charging
- DC fast charging where applicable
- Charging port
- Connector
- Cable
- Charging errors
12V Battery
Yes, your EV still has a 12V battery, and it can still leave you stranded.
- Voltage
- Condition
- Charging behaviour
- Connections
- Corrosion
- Faults
High Voltage System
Safe, non-invasive checks only. We don't open or repair high-voltage batteries.
- Visual check of accessible HV cabling and covers
- HV system warnings and fault codes
- Signs of physical damage underneath
Steering
- Steering feel and play
- Steering rack and boots (visual)
- Related warning lights
HVAC
- Heating and air-conditioning operation
- Cabin airflow
- Cabin filter inspection
- Cabin HEPA filter inspection
- Related fault codes
General Electrical & Safety
- Lights
- Windows
- Mirrors
- Wipers and washers
- Horn
- Dashboard warning lights
Why it matters
EVs hide wear well.
Tyres wear quietly
All that battery weight and instant torque eats tread, often unevenly. A worn set discovered at registration time is an urgent expense. Caught at your check, it's a planned one.
Regen hides brake problems
Regenerative braking means the friction brakes are used so lightly they can corrode and seize without you noticing. By the time you feel it, a small repair has grown.
The 12V battery won't warn you
It's still a regular 12V battery, and when it fades, the car simply won't start one morning. We track its condition long before that morning arrives.
Included with every plan
Wipers on us.
Every plan inspection includes a wiper check, and if your front wiper blades need replacing, we fit new ones on the spot. Free. Every visit, no fine print.
Plans
From about $6.50 a week.
Annual plan
A full whole-vehicle inspection once a year, and a yearly health record for your EV.
- Inspections
- 1 full check a year
- Price
- $345 a year
- Works out to
- about $6.50 a week
- Wipers on us
- Included, every visit
6-Monthly plan
A check every six months, so the safety-critical parts of your EV are inspected twice as closely and small issues are caught before they become a risk.
- Inspections
- 2 full checks a year, one every 6 months
- Price
- $165 every 6 months
- Works out to
- about $6.35 a week
- Wipers on us
- Included, every visit
If a check finds something that needs attention, you get a plain-English rundown of what, why and how urgent, so any work stays your call, and stays planned.

Your EV Health History
Over time, the checks stop being one-offs and start working together. Each visit feeds the next, and the data builds into something a single inspection can't give you:
- Battery health
- Battery degradation
- Tyre tread
- Brake condition
- Suspension findings
- 12V battery
- Cooling system
- General inspection results
Example only, not real customer data

Visit 1
Initial visit
Your first inspection records the starting point: battery state of health, tyre tread, brakes, 12V and the results of the whole-vehicle check. Every reading becomes your baseline.
- 2
Visit 2
Data banking
Each visit after that adds new readings and compares them against your baseline. Battery health, tyre wear and the 12V battery stop being one-off numbers and become trends.
- 3
Visit 3 and beyond
Preventative care
The trends are where the value lands. Wear is spotted while it's small, earlier findings get re-checked instead of forgotten, and repairs stay planned instead of becoming emergencies.
The longer your EV is on a plan, the more the record does for you. The catches come earlier, and the numbers show the care.
